Lambertville Love

If you love adorable small towns, beautiful homes, antique/vintage shopping and good food, plan a trip to Lambertville, New Jersey.  Only about an hour outside of Philadelphia, it’s a great place for a quick weekend trip.  Eric and I drove up this past Sunday, spent the night and were back in time for dinner on Monday.  It’s a pretty small town, so one or two days is definitely enough time to explore.  If you have some extra time, New Hope is another cute town across the river and just a quick walk over the bridge.

Lambertville is a vintage shopper’s dream.  The streets are lined with antique stores and I found so many things I wanted to bring home.  Although you may not find many great deals here, you’ll definitely find many unique pieces.  If deals are what you’re looking for, be sure to stop by Golden Nugget – a flea market just a few minutes from Lambertville.

And my favorite Lambertville resident – Buster the Pomeranian…

We took a beautiful stroll along the canal…

If you go to one restaurant in Lambertville, go to Hamilton’s Grill Room.  It is tucked away in this hidden little area with a courtyard for outdoor seating.  It was so beautiful –  I couldn’t stop taking photos!  We lucked out with beautiful weather and were able to sit outside…

We started our meal off with oysters and crab cakes which were my favorite part of the meal – says a lot because the entrees were pretty fantastic as well.  I had the NY strip steak and Eric had the salmon and they were both delicious.  I might have licked my plate clean.
